3D printable presupported STL files for pipped sharp-edged D6 dice in normal 15mm size, to print your own dice masters. These printable files result in a nice average/normal sized sharp-edged pipped D6 after printing and sanding.

This is a set of 8 different styles. These include:

► D6 Pipped Round - Normal regular round pips.
► D6 Pipped Square - Square-shaped pips
► D6 Pipped Star - 5-pointed heart pips
► D6 Pipped Hive - Hexagon shaped pips arranged like the inside of a beehive.
► D6 Pipped Chaos - Round pips, but in different sizes and scattered across the faces.
► D6 Pipped Twinkle - Twinkle shaped pips in different sizes, resembling a starry sky.
► D6 Pipped Diamond - Diamond shaped pips.
► D6 Pipped Heart - Heart shaped pips.

Only want one or two styles? Check my other listings - they're available separately too.

Each style has three files (for a total of 24 files):

► D6 Pipped - This is how the D6 will look after you have printed it, removed it from supports, and sanded it.
► D6 Pipped with Bumpers - This is how the D6 will look after you have printed it and removed it from supports. It will still need sanding to remove the "bumpers" on the edges and smooth down the layer lines. The bumpers help ensure dimensional accuracy when printing, and prevent chipping the die when removing the supports. They also help ensure you're sanding evenly.
► D6 Pipped Supported - This is the D6 at the best angle for printing, on supports and a raft, ready to print on your own resin 3D printer. The supports are optimized for dice printing, and all you need to do is calibrate your exposure settings, slice, and print.

***PDF INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED***

An 8 page PDF is also included which includes printing and calibration instructions as well as tips on removing supports and sanding and polishing your prints to use them as masters to make your own silicone molds.

***SCALE***

These pipped D6 STLs will print at 15mm size. You may be able to scale them up or down by about 15% and the supports usually still work. If you want a very different size, contact me - I can make you files to print super-chonks or minis. :)

***3D PRINTABLE FILES***

This listing is for virtual, imaginary, computer-format dice STL files that exist only on your computer, rather than real, physical dice that you can hold in your hand. If you want to make them a physical object you will need access to a 3D printer - ideally a resin printer, which uses liquid that hardens with exposure to light, to make these files into physical objects. If you buy this listing, you will need to print them out yourself, or have someone do it for you - someone you know with the right kind of 3D printer, or a printing service like Shapeways.

The supported versions of the files are all ready to print, meaning all you have to do is load them into the slicer of your choice (Chitubox, Lychee, PrusaSlicer, etc.) with the correct exposure settings for your resin, slice them, and print. You will also have to remove the supports and sand and polish them to use them as dice masters. Instructions to do so are included.

***USAGE OF THE FILES***

These files are supplied to print masters to make your own dice, so you may upload them to a printing service such as Shapeways as a privately viewable object to have them printed for you, or send them to someone you know who owns a resin printer who will print them for you, or similar transfer of files to get them printed up for you.

You can print as many copies of your masters as you need from these STL files to make your own dice, and you may modify the files for personal use. You are allowed to sell finished dice - molded and cast versions of your prints (if you may do so in your country - certain types of dice may be patented for sale as gaming devices in certain countries - my files are 3D models of dice rather than gaming devices themselves). You can use my files in renders and promos for your own work based on them - for example, rendering several colour options to poll customers on which style they want you to produce next. You may sell silicone molds for dice-making based on these files, and anyone who buys your molds can sell dice made in them.

You are not allowed to redistribute the STL files otherwise (such as putting them up on Thingiverse, MyMiniFactory, etc. for others to download and print for themselves). You are not allowed to sell printed versions of these for use as finished dice, or as dice masters - I retain exclusive rights to selling prints/masters made from these files. Only commercial tuse of certain derivative works (silicone molds, casts made in silicone molds, or renders/promos using my 3D files but not my images) is allowed. Any other usage, please contact me first.

You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order, for example), if you contact me directly.
I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:

I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 4 years.

· Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
· Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
